This position is responsible for performing diagnostic ultrasound procedures in a safe and prudent manner for the specific purpose of producing a high quality diagnostic exam. Performs general abdominal, OB / GYN, and small parts ultrasound exams, venous, and carotid Doppler. Follows appropriate guidelines for exams, patient needs, and confidentiality, QC / QI and archiving. This position reports to the to the Diagnostic Imaging Manager. The individual in this position will be required to fully understand the purpose and operation of Patient Care Services along with having the ability to make decisions based on sound judgment when a situation dictates.
This is a full-time position working 40hrs per week, working with rotating weekends.

Requirements :
ARDMS Eligible : One ARDMS registry in either abdomen or OB / GYN within 6 months of hire
Specific Accountabilities :
Appropriate transducer, gain, field of view, focal range, frame rate, dynamic range, etc.
Recognize the significance of all structures that are visualized.
