Responsibilities :

  • Develop and execute sales strategies : Collaborate with senior management to establish regional sales objectives, targets, and strategies aligned with overall company goals. Implement and monitor the execution of these strategies to drive sales growth.
  • Team management : Lead and mentor a team of sales representatives within the region, providing guidance, support, and ongoing training to maximize their performance. Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback to drive continuous improvement.
  • Business development : Identify new business opportunities and potential customers within the region. Establish and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients, including distributors, retailers, and end-users. Expand our customer base by prospecting, networking, and attending industry events.
  • Market analysis : Monitor market trends, competitors, and customer needs to identify opportunities for product development and improvement. Provide valuable market insights to inform marketing and product development strategies.
  • Sales forecasting and reporting : Track and analyze sales data, market trends, and customer feedback to develop accurate sales forecasts and reports. Present regular updates to senior management, highlighting achievements, challenges, and recommended actions.
  • Cross-functional collaboration : Collaborate closely with internal departments, including marketing, product development, and customer service, to ensure effective communication and alignment of strategies. Provide input on product offerings, pricing, promotions, and other marketing initiatives.
  • Customer relationship management : Build and maintain strong relationships with key accounts, understanding their specific needs and providing exceptional customer service. Address customer inquiries, resolve complaints, and act as a trusted advisor on packaging solutions.
  • Qualifications :

  • Minimum of 5 years of sales experience in the packaging industry, with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets. Prior experience in a leadership or managerial role is preferred.
  • A bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, or a related field is preferred.
  • In-depth understanding of the packaging industry, including various materials, applications, and market dynamics.
  • Strong leadership abilities with the capacity to motivate and inspire a sales team. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with internal teams, customers, and stakeholders at all levels.
  • Ability to think analytically, evaluate market trends, and develop strategic sales plans. Demonstrated skills in market analysis, sales forecasting, and budgeting.
  • Proven ability to consistently achieve and exceed sales targets. Strong negotiation and closing skills with a focus on delivering exceptional customer satisfaction.
  • Willingness to travel within the assigned region and occasionally outside the region as needed. Adaptability to changing market conditions and ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
