Candidates must meet both the Education and Experience requirements: | |
EDUCATION | Thirty (30) semester (45 quarter) units of completed college level courses in programming, computer science, or software engineering or related field. A list of coursework must be submitted with the application. |
EXPERIENCE | OPTION 1: Three (3) years of work experience in a production environment, within the past five (5) years, performing analysis and programming for the purpose of developing business applications, includingat least six (6) months’ experience as a project leader for small to medium scale projects.
OPTION 2: Two (2) years of work experience managing QIP in a Designated Public Hospital within the past five (5) years, performing systems analysis and project planning for the purpose of developing business applications. Qualifying experience must have been using the following primary development languages and frameworks:

Substitutions: A Bachelor's degree in programming, computer science, or software engineering may substitute for one (1) year of the work (non-lead) experience. |
The ideal candidate will possess the following:
- Two (2) years healthcare experience
- Designated Public Hospital or Public Health Plan experience
- Two (2) years experience with P4P programs or five (5) years healthcare analytics experience
- SQL report writing
