What are the responsibilities and job description for the CLIMATE ADAPTATION SPECIALIST ( ENVIRONMENTAL SCIENTIST) position at San Francisco Bay Conservation & Development Commission?
As BCDC’s Climate Adaptation Specialist, you will work to accelerate the implementation of nature-based solutions for climate adaptation along the shoreline of San Francisco Bay.
You’ll be part of a team focused on improving permitting outcomes
- You will be part of a small team that is working to improve BCDC’s regulatory program.
- Our objective is to speed up the regulatory approval process for resilient shoreline adaptation projects that align with the forthcoming BCDC Regional Shoreline Adaptation Plan.
- To make this happen, we are implementing efforts to make BCDC’s permitting faster and more efficient, and with more predictable outcomes for applicants piloting innovative projects.
