Position Overview:
As a Banquet Event Set-up/House Attendant, you will play a crucial role in setting up and breaking down event spaces throughout the resort, ensuring seamless and memorable experiences for our guests. This position requires attention to detail and a passion for creating beautiful event environments, whether for weddings, corporate functions, or special celebrations. Key Responsibilities:
- Set up tables, chairs, linens, and other event materials according to the banquet event order (BEO) and guest specifications.
- Assist with the breakdown of event setups and restore event spaces to their original condition.
- Ensure all event materials and equipment are clean, organized, and properly stored after use.
- Coordinate with event staff and other departments to ensure smooth and efficient event operations.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in all event spaces.
- Respond to guest needs promptly and professionally during event setup.
- Adhere to resort safety standards and ensure equipment is properly handled.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in banquet, hospitality, or event setup is a plus, but not required.
- Excellent attention to detail and a strong work ethic.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to lift and move up to 50 pounds regularly.
- Frequent standing, walking, bending, and pushing/pulling of event equipment.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing setups throughout the day.
