Job Summary:
The Director of Front Office at Hotel Effie, Autograph Collection, is responsible for leading the front office team to deliver exceptional guest experiences while ensuring operational efficiency. This role oversees the front desk, concierge, bell services, and guest services, with a strong focus on guest satisfaction, team development, and loyalty program management. The ideal candidate will be a strategic leader with extensive knowledge of loyalty programs, luxury hotel operations, and a passion for creating memorable guest interactions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Leadership & Team Development: Inspire, mentor, and develop a high-performing front office team to uphold service excellence and brand standards.
- Guest Experience & Satisfaction: Monitor guest feedback, implement service enhancements, and drive initiatives to improve guest satisfaction and loyalty.
- Loyalty Program Management: Oversee and optimize the hotel’s participation in Marriott Bonvoy, ensuring seamless guest enrollment, recognition, and benefits fulfillment.
- Operational Oversight: Supervise daily front office operations, ensuring efficiency in check-ins/check-outs, reservations, and guest issue resolution.
- Collaboration & Communication: Work closely with housekeeping, food & beverage, and other departments to maintain a seamless guest experience.
- Budget & Financial Management: Assist in budgeting, control departmental expenses, and identify revenue-enhancing opportunities.
- Scheduling & Availability: Ensure proper staffing levels for 24/7 coverage and provide on-call support for critical situations.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand, walk, walk up and down stairs and move for extended periods.
- Ability to lift up to 30 pounds as needed.
- Frequent use of a computer and office equipment.
- Willingness to work in various weather conditions when required.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management or related field preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of front office leadership experience in a luxury hotel environment.
- Strong knowledge of loyalty programs, preferably Marriott Bonvoy.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in property management systems and Microsoft Office.
- Ability to work flexible schedules, including weekends and holidays.
