Position Overview:
Sandhills Energy is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Finance Analyst to join our growing team. The Finance Analyst will support financial planning, budgeting, and analysis efforts to ensure effective management of our renewable energy projects. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, excellent organizational abilities, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting for ongoing and upcoming energy projects.
- Analyze financial performance and prepare reports on project cost, variance analysis, and operational performance.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Support in maintaining and enhancing financial models to help track project development and performance.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure accuracy and timeliness of financial data.
- Help manage and analyze project financial data, including cash flows, project budgets, and forecasts.
- Prepare ad-hoc financial reports and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies.
- Continuously improve financial reporting processes and tools to enhance efficiency.
Required Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.
Required Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years of prior full-time employment in an accounting or finance-related role.
Preferred Computer Application Experience:
- Experience with Netsuite ERP systems, NetSuite Planning and Budgeting, Smartsheet, and Box software is a plus, but not required.

Pay: $80,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year
