SUMMARY :
Records, verifies and post payments received by the organization. Ensures transactions are recorded promptly and accurately in accordance with internal accounting policies. Schedule is M-F 8 : 00 to 4 : 30.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS :
- Oversee full-cycle Accounts Receivable processes.
- Correctly bill customers for goods or services.
- Collect payment from customers and accurately record in ERP system.
- Reconcile account discrepancies.
- Update customer account and contact information in ERP system.
- Prepare and review Accounts Receivable (AR) Aging statement.
- Send AR Aging report to customers.
- Follow up with customers on past dues accounts to obtain payment.
- Maintain customer credit hold status when customer accounts have past due invoice(s) or order(s) exceed credit limit.
- Release customer credit hold when payment is received, or credit limit is revised to a higher limit.
- Review customer credit reports and propose credit limits.
- Support customer Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) process with Customer Service department.
- Maintain customer statement reconciliation.
- Proactively respond to inquiries from various levels of management and maintain good working relationships with internal and external contacts.
- Participate in ad-hoc projects
- Perform other duties as assigned.
