Position Summary
Join our dynamic Finance team as a Staff Accountant within the Billing department! In this hybrid role, you'll work primarily remotely, with just one day a week in our Bethesda, MD office—plus occasional visits during peak periods. You'll play a key role in managing incoming payments, ensuring accurate accounting, and overseeing multiple bank accounts. Your expertise in multi-currency transactions, currency conversions, and basic tax principles will be crucial as you reconcile bank statements and generate insightful financial reports. Key Responsibilities
- Manage credit card gateways and generate and compare reports for discrepancies – specific focus on foreign legal entities.
- Create reports and enter payments data into multiple accounting systems such as Dynamics SL.
- Assist and implement new processes as the company continues to grow.
- Manage bank reports as it relates to credit card payments, ACHs and wires for multiple bank accounts tied to multiple entities to pass to staff accountants.
- Apply cash payments in Salesforce and Registration systems.
- Ability to liaison with sales team members to reconcile payments.
- Other job responsibilities as assigned.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting
- 1-3 years of entry level experience in accounting, accounts receivable, or billing
- Knowledge of accounting software programs specifically Dynamics SL
- Knowledge of payment Gateway software such as Cybersource, Tableau, AMEX Merchant Site
Preferred Qualifications
- Proficient in Excel
- Familiar with SAP S/4 Hana and Salesforce
Reporting Relationships
This position will report to the Billing Manager and has no direct reports.
Work Environment
Hybrid work environment with a preference for EST time zone.

The base salary range for this position is between $60,000 and $65,000. Base salary ranges may vary by geographic location and relevant experience, education, certifications, and years of experience. There is no guarantee an offer will be at the top of the posted range based on the salary analysis.
