The Human Resource Director will be responsible for leading the HR function at Santa Rosa Rancheria, providing strategic guidance and support to department directors and employees. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in human resources management, public administration, or business administration, with a proven track record of success in developing and implementing effective HR strategies.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement HR policies and procedures that align with the tribe's mission and values
- Provide guidance and support to department directors and employees on employment opportunities, compensation, and employee benefits
- Stay up-to-date with federal and state laws related to employment and ensure compliance
- Work closely with other departments to achieve organizational goals and objectives
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management, Public Administration, Business Administration, or related field
- 5-7 years of experience in human resources, with a focus on operations management
- Valid California driver's license and insurability through the company's carrier
