Role Overview
We are seeking a hands-on Quality Assurance (QA) Engineer to test and validate our software systems across web, mobile, and API platforms. In this role, you’ll work closely with developers, designers, and product managers to ensure quality throughout the development lifecycle. This is a full-time, on-site position based at our Las Vegas headquarters.
Key Responsibilities
Testing & Validation
- Create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases.
- Perform manual and automated testing across multiple platforms (web, mobile, API).
- Identify, document, and track bugs, performance issues, and usability problems.
Automation & Tools
- Develop and maintain automated test scripts using tools like Selenium, Cypress, or Appium.
- Set up and manage testing frameworks within CI/CD pipelines.
- Execute regression, integration, and smoke tests for new features and product updates.
Cross-Team Collaboration
- Collaborate with engineers, designers, and product managers to clarify requirements and define testing criteria.
- Participate in daily standups, sprint planning, and QA reviews.
- Advocate for quality and end-user experience at every phase of the product lifecycle.
Continuous Improvement
- Analyze testing results and make recommendations for system improvements.
- Help build scalable QA processes and implement best practices.
- Maintain clear documentation for test cases, processes, and QA metrics.
Qualifications and Experience
- 2–5 years of experience in software quality assurance or testing roles.
- Hands-on experience with manual and automated testing tools and techniques.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
- Experience in testing across multiple platforms (iOS, Android, Web, APIs).
- Proficiency with bug tracking systems such as Jira.
- Understanding of QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
- Excellent attention to detail and strong analytical and communication skills.
- Located in Las Vegas or willing to relocate – this role is fully on-site.
Compensation and Benefits
- Salary Range: $60,000 – $70,000 USD annually, based on experience and qualifications.
