ACCOUNTS PAYABLE SPECIALIST

Job Description

SAR APARTMENT CAPITAL is growing! We are looking for an Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team. The projects reside in different states and are well capitalized. The company is involved in the ownership and management of apartments, as well as construction of multi-family developments.

Pay: $50,000/year

Schedule:

• Day shift

• Monday to Friday

Responsibilities:

Payments & Reconciliation

• Process payments via checks, ACH, wire transfers, or credit cards

• Ensure timely payment to vendors to avoid late fees and maintain good relationships

• Reconcile accounts payable transactions and resolve discrepancies

• Monitor and manage outstanding invoices

Vendor Management

• Maintain vendor records and ensure compliance with company policies

• Communicate with vendors regarding payment status and discrepancies

• Resolve any invoice disputes or discrepancies

Financial Reporting & Compliance

• Prepare and maintain accounts payable reports

• Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures

• Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting regulations

• Maintain proper documentation for audits

Process Improvement

• Identify opportunities for streamlining accounts payable processes

• Implement best practices to enhance efficiency

Requirements:

• A minimum of 1 year experience

• Have a strong work ethic with reliability and dependability

• Enjoy working with others and taking direction needed

• Maintain a friendly and customer-service oriented to co-workers and customers
