Inpatient Rehab Facility (IRF)
Job Summary
This leader has operational accountability and oversight, and manages the daily activities of the Rehabilitation Service Line. In this role, the leader sets the tone and models positive leadership behavior, while ensuring team work tasks, projects, and responsibilities are completed successfully in support of departmental and organizational goals.
Required Qualifications
- Require current State of Florida licensure (PT, OT or SLP).
- Require a minimum of five (5) years experience as a staff therapist in which at least one year was in a lead or supervisory level position.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prefer Master's degree in business or health administration (MBA or MHA).
- Prefer experience in the continuum of Rehab (Acute Care, Inpatient Rehab, or Outpatient).
- Prefer demonstrated knowledge of insurance rules and regulations including Medicare, Medicaid, managed care, and commercial insurance.
- Prefer demonstrated leadership skills and understanding of group processes and teamwork
- Prefer demonstrated ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships at all levels.
- Prefer demonstrated communication and interpersonal skills at all levels.
- Prefer demonstrated ability to analyze problems and consistently follow through to solution and to take initiative, exercise independent judgment, decision-making and problem solving expertise.
