Position: Business Manager EAST BRUNSWICK, WEST LONG BRANCH

Who We’re Looking For:
Satori Academy of Martial Arts is seeking a passionate and driven leader to oversee and elevate the operations of our academy. As the Business Manager, you will take the lead in managing academy performance, coaching sales, building exceptional teams, and ensuring a world-class member experience. This role requires a proactive, results-oriented individual with a strong background in sales leadership, team development, and community engagement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead with Passion & Purpose:
  • Act as a player-coach, inspiring your team to achieve excellence. Engage with prospective students/parents, guide them through their first experience, and convert leads into long-term members.
  • Team Development:

Build, mentor, and manage a high-performing team of instructors and staff to meet monthly membership and revenue goals while delivering an exceptional customer experience.

  • Strategic Growth:

Collaborate with executive leadership to craft a strategic roadmap for expanding the Satori Academy brand and increasing community impact.Drive grassroots marketing initiatives, network with local businesses, and partner with community organizations to elevate brand visibility.Oversee sales and retention goals and ensure operational excellence.Monitor key metrics, such as revenue, member retention, and satisfaction, to evaluate academy success and make actionable improvements.Organize engaging events for members, from seminars to community outreach activities, to foster academy culture and growth.Success Metrics:

Qualifications:

  • 10 years in leadership roles (retail, service industry, or consumer-focused environments).
  • 5 years of experience in management and sales.
  • Proven track record in membership sales and customer retention.
  • Strong strategic thinking, problem-solving, and process-oriented skills.
  • A passion for health, wellness, fitness and martial arts.
  • Familiarity with the martial arts or fitness industry is a significant advantage.
  • Bachelor’s degree is a plus but not required; grit, passion, and results matter most.

Location:
Satori Academy’s headquarters is based in Hazlet, NJ, with multiple academy locations across New Jersey and New York.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
