What are the responsibilities and job description for the Estimator position at Satterfield and Pontikes Construction, Inc?
Due to Eagle Contracting's continued growth and expansion, we are adding an Estimator to our Keller team. In this role you will be estimating projects between $10-300 million. Projects range from Pump Stations, Lift Stations, and Waste Water Treatment Plants. Must have expert knowledge of Waste Water projects. We do both major rehab and new construction projects.

The role you will play:
- Prepares and coordinates quantity take-offs
- Communicates with sub-trades and suppliers to ensure an understanding of the scope of work
- Assist in receiving and evaluating subcontractor and major material quotations prior to bid day and on bid day
- Solicits and maintains communication with subcontractors and vendors
- Transmits addenda and other bid information to subcontractors
- Ensures that we have the proper coverage from subcontractors on bid day
- Working with estimating team to strategize final bids
- Regular worksite attendance
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
- B.A. or B.S. in Engineering, Construction Management or Architecture.
- 1 years as an Estimator for a Waste Water Construction Contractor.
- Must have experience estimating projects over $10 million.
