Description
- Operate phone system for school.
- Greet visitors, check them in, and direct them to appropriate area.
- Communicate with co-workers, parents, students and others in a courteous and professional manner.
- Oversees most aspects of mail by sorting and distributing incoming mail, coordinating pickup and delivery of packages from delivery services.
- Maintains family and student contact information in student database.
- Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
- Assists with student attendance.
- Assists in keeping student and office workspace in order.
- Prepares teacher attendance for payroll.
Requirements
- High school diploma
- 3 years of administrative assistant experience preferred but not required
- Knowledge of appropriate software including: Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook, Microsoft PowerPoint and Adobe Acrobat
- Must be detail oriented.
- Ability to multi-task.
- Must be able to work with a diverse group of people.
- Proficient with typing and data entry.
- Regular attendance is required for successful completion of job duties.
