Exterior Surfaces Sales Associate

Job Description

We are seeking an Exterior Surfaces Sales Associate to join our team! You will resolve customer questions and offer solutions to drive company revenue.

Responsibilities:

• Present and sell company products to new and existing customers
• Prospect and contact potential customers
• Reach agreed upon sales targets
• Resolve customer inquiries and complaints
• Perform follow-up to keep customers aware of latest developments
• Create purchase orders, sales orders, estimates and invoices in QuickBooks
• Set up deliveries
• Assist with administrative and marketing needs
• Maintain sales counter, including marketing materials and displays
• Other duties as assigned
  
  

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in sales, customer service, or other related fields
• Knowledge of hardscape materials such as pavers, stone, tile and brick
• Ability to build rapport with clients
• Strong organizational skills
• Deadline and detail-oriented
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Basic data entry and/or word processing skills, experience with QuickBooks a plus
• Ability to manage priorities, multi-task in a busy environment with phone calls, walk-in customers, and other tasks
• Lift samples weighing up to 40 pounds
• Work independently and as a member of a team
• Self-motivated with good initiative and willingness to help out where needed
