Savencia Cheese USA is looking for a candidate that will play a crucial role in supporting the commercial finance and sales team, ensuring efficient sales operations, and contributing to the overall success of the company’s initiatives. The Sales Analyst will be responsible for timely and accurate payment of sales commissions to the company’s brokers. In this role, you will also be responsible for the management of deductions and accruals for the assigned trade customers. Essential Functions:
Broker Commissions
- Calculating, processing, and reconciling sales commission payments based on company policies and broker agreements. This includes monthly direct commissions as well as quarterly indirect commissions.
- Updating, maintaining, and renewing broker agreement contracts in collaboration with the legal team. Includes partnering with IT to maintain commissions agreements in SAP.
- Act as the main point of contact for brokers, fielding inquiries regarding commission payments, transactions, and agreement details. Work cross-functionally if necessary to resolve issues.
- Preparing and distributing commission statements and payments on a monthly and quarterly basis
Trade Promotion
- Review customer deductions taken upon payment and validate against trade promotional contracts so they can be cleared from the customer account in a timely manner. Ensure clear communication to the sales team on non-working customer deduction.
- Using systems knowledge, help facilitate the Blue Planner optimization project, including TrewUp launch.
- Perform monthly analysis related to trade promotions, customer performance, deduction disputes and timeliness of deduction settlements.
- Ensure customer promotion accrual balances are reconciled.
