Your role at Sephora :

As a "Lead Solutions Engineering, Marketing Technology", you will design and implement innovative analytical solutions and work alongside the product engineering team, evaluating new features and architecture while overseeing end to end flow. Reporting to the Director, Engineering, MarTech Platform, you will work closely with other team members like Data architects, Data Engineers and Product to understand what the business is trying to achieve, design optimal data models and most optimal ways for data-movements that helps optimize Compute, Processing and Data storage within Data Platform. You will be also responsible for building and maintaining the data platform. This hands-on technical role demands excellent knowledge and can demonstrate best practices in the industry. Responsibilities

  • Design and implement innovative data services solutions using Spring boot, ReactJS, NoSQL, or other UI and API related technologies
  • Lead Solution Design and Architecture discussions with Google Marketing Platform. These include Google AdWords, DCM, SA360, Google Analytics 4 / 360, Google Tag Manager amidst other GMP products.
  • Optimize server-side Integrations and data flows from Bing Ads, Facebook Ads, Instagram Ads, Waze Ads, TikTok, Pinterest that help in Server-Side Attribution and Measurements.
  • Lead Solution Design and Data Architecture discussions with Facebook Business Manager Server-Side Attribution and Performance Measurement Architecture
  • Manage Ingestion, store, aggregation, transformation, and reporting of marketing data lifecycle for paid media campaigns configuration, launch, and ongoing optimization. This includes strategy, ad copywriting, data-based optimization, TROAS calculation, Audience Bidding and Targeting / Activations
  • Identify campaign and audience bidding and optimization opportunities based on data consolidations across multiple clouds (e.g behavioral online data is captured in one cloud while its intelligence and transactional offline data derived from on the other).
  • Ensure campaigns are meeting clearly defined conversion objectives i.e., Floodlight conversion tracking and reporting
  • Create and deliver meaningful analytics and reporting to monitor and show progress to Marketing Operations, Product and Business needs
  • Build and scale services infrastructure that exposed data to other systems (website) and third parties
  • Build Improve Cross platform, Mobile API driven marketing data collection, activation and attribution for iOS and Android platforms
  • Maintain knowledge of industry best practices in Digital Marketing, Cookie degradation, Compliance and Consent based marketing and trends in new technologies i.e., IDFA, AAID, GDPR, CCPA etc.,
  • Perform production support and deployment activities

We're excited about you if you have :

  • 5-8 years of Marketing technology driven software development or industry experience with ability to contribute to an end-to-end architecture and solution overview using multi cloud Google Cloud Platform (GCP), Azure , Adobe Cloud platform technology tools
  • Experience in working on data lake, including data warehouse technical architectures, infrastructure components, ETL / ELT and reporting / analytic tools, environments, and data structures.
  • Experience working with marketing data structures using Google Cloud Storage, Cloud SQL, GCP Cloud Data Flow, Google Cloud Data Prep, BigQuery & Compute Engine, Cloud Big Table, Cloud CDN for Google Marketing & G Suite.
  • Expert in Content and Data design and architecture i.e., OCID, Dynamic Content storage and architecture solution like Experience fragments and content fragments CDN / DAM / CMS Integrations with data driven marketing personalization's using ML / AI delivering CX.AI at scale using multi cloud and hybrid cloud solutions. (AWS / Google and AZURE)
  • Experience building multi-cloud analytics to marketing data with BigQuery Omni
  • Experience working in an agile team
  • Experience scaling microservices in high traffic environments
  • Experience with performance management, logging, and monitoring tools
  • Experience with common open-source technologies at scale, such as Kafka, Cassandra, MongoDB, Nginx, Redis, ElasticSearch
  • Microsoft Azure : Experience designing, deploying, and administering scalable, available, and fault tolerant systems on Microsoft Azure AKS.
  • Experience in building multi-tier, high availability applications with modern web technologies such as NoSQL, MongoDB, SparkML, and TensorFlow.
  • Experience in working on Google compute engine and App Engine
  • Experience working with Google Cloud Pub / Sub, TOPICS, Pull & Push subscriptions using Webservers, Native Installed Apps, Browsers etc.
  • Problem-Solving Skills Services Engineers look at an issue that needs to be solved and come up with solutions quickly.
  • Required Skills : 10-12 YOE - Lead Data Engineer - MarTech Background is a must! Orchestration Tool Knowledge : Adobe Campaign or similar. Big Data : Scala, Databricks, Spark SQL, Spark Streaming, Python Cloud : Azure , ADF System Design : Event Driven Architecture, Design Patterns
