Location: New York, NY (on site)

Job Description

Seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Apparel Production and Sourcing Assistant to join our team. You will be responsible for the entire production process of each of the orders and delivered on time. This is a full-time position based in our NY Office.

Production Responsibilities

• Handle all packaging approvals, analyzing with a critical eye
• Partner with design on any concerns regarding paper weight, printing, color, etc.
• Owning and handling all TJ Maxx carton markings for POE and FOB orders
• Log in all PP/TOP samples
• Owns all Farm Fleet (Rugged Bear, Wrangler) color approvals – share findings with Design Director before sending comments to factory
• Handle all delegated tasks from sourcing/production team
  
  

Sourcing Responsibilities

• Manage the Sampling Chart – enter all dates (when style submitted to be sampled, eta date)
• Partner with sourcing director on any issues
• Managing the Sourcing Costing Charts – and make sure that the costing aligns with the Sample Approval Chart –
• i.e. if we get a better price in sample approvals chart, please update the costing chart to reflect
• Manage fabric library – cut and add new fabrics (sent from both factories and the design team) and file them into a booklet with notes.
• Once we received a fabric quality to approve for production, work with Design and send approval comments back to the factory.
  
  

Qualifications

• 3 years experience
• Must have a background in apparel category
• Excellent communication, multi-tasking, organizational, time management and follow-up skills.
• Proficient in Excel
  
  

Salary $55,000-$60,000
