This role is critical in driving innovation, ensuring brand alignment, and delivering exceptional product assortments that resonate with our customers and meet financial objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
Trend Forecasting & Design Direction:
- Lead all trend forecasting efforts to identify macro and micro trends in fashion, beauty, and travel accessories.
- Create and distribute detailed reports and mood boards for buyers, merchandisers, and the internal design team to guide product development.
- Serve as an inspirational visionary, defining brand image and DNA through seasonal color, print, and material direction.
- Develop and implement a cohesive merchandising strategy that aligns with financial targets and delivers a seamless customer experience.
- Identify product opportunities by analyzing the competitive landscape and bringing innovative ideas to the design team.
- Direct and refine merchandise assortments to meet customer needs while aligning with overall department strategy to drive earnings growth.
- Build strong cross-functional relationships with Design and Sales teams to ensure seamless product execution and alignment on brand direction.
- Provide constructive feedback to the design team to ensure products are trend-right, brand-appropriate, and sales-driven.
- Inspire the creative team with clear vision and innovative ideas that align with market trends and consumer demands.
- Product Assortments & Investment Strategy:
- Proactively lead the creation of product assortments and investment strategies to maximize sales and profitability for the division.
- Balance creative vision with financial objectives to ensure successful product launches and category growth.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, adapting to shifting priorities and ensuring all deadlines are met.
- Proven experience in trend forecasting, merchandising, and product development, particularly in beauty, fashion, and travel categories.
- Strong creative vision with the ability to identify and interpret trends and translate them into actionable strategies.
- Exceptional communication, presentation, and collaboration skills to effectively align with cross-functional teams.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to balance creativity and financial objectives.
- Detail-oriented, organized, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Salary : $120,000 - $160,000
