About the Role
As a highly skilled Diagnostic Imaging Specialist at Scenic Mountain Medical Center, you will play a critical role in providing exceptional patient care by operating MRI equipment to capture high-quality images. Reporting directly to our Radiology Department, you will work closely with our team of medical professionals to ensure timely and accurate imaging services for both inpatients and outpatients.
Responsibilities
Key responsibilities include adjusting imaging parameters to study various anatomical regions such as soft tissue, arterial systems, brain, spine, joints, and extremities with or without contrast media. You will also be responsible for maintaining imaging equipment, adhering to departmental protocols, and collaborating with radiologists to deliver optimal patient outcomes.
Requirements
To excel in this position, we require an individual with a strong background in magnetic resonance imaging (MRI). It is preferred but not required that you hold a degree from an accredited AMA school and are registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT) with a certification in Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MR). Additionally, maintaining a State License as a general radiographer is mandatory. We seek an experienced professional with a minimum of one year in a similar role who can effectively prioritize tasks, maintain accurate records, and contribute to a collaborative team environment.
