THE ROLE:
We are seeking a dynamic and creative Part-Time Social Media Assistant to join ScholarTrip. This role is perfect for college students or individuals pursuing a career in social media and digital marketing. As our Social Media Assistant, you'll help craft our social media voice, build engaging online communities, and keep our brand at the forefront of exciting travel trends. Your insights into the student demographic and flair for creating relatable content will be crucial in amplifying our presence across various social platforms.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in developing and implementing social media strategies to increase engagement, brand awareness, and follower growth.
- Curate and create eye-catching content across platforms such as Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook.
- Monitor and interact with followers and online communities to foster engagement and build relationships.
- Help manage our content calendar and ensure timely posting of content that resonates with our student audience.
- Actively gather user-generated content by requesting repost permissions and maintaining a library of UGC and copyright-free content.
Requirements:
- Currently enrolled in college or recent graduate (preferred).
- A strong passion for social media and an understanding of student culture and travel trends.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficient in social media platforms like Instagram, TikTok, Twitter, and Facebook.
- Creative mindset with a knack for creating engaging, fun, and relatable content.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
- Basic knowledge of social media analytics and tools (e.g., Canva, Hootsuite, or Buffer) is a plus.
- A love for travel and an interest in helping students discover new opportunities around the world.
