The pay range for this position is listed below. Our pay ranges are built to allow for candidates with various levels of skill and experience to be considered, as well as for room for growth and tenure achieved in a role over time. Typical new hire salary offers fall within the minimum to midpoint of a pay range for many candidates. Any offer extended to a candidate will be based upon their unique set of knowledge, skills, education, and experience as well as internal equity.

What You’ll Be Doing
Provides excellent service to Members seeking information on insurance products offered through SchoolsFirst Insurance Services. Responsible for maintaining and updating existing policies in order to provide the most favorable coverage, cost, and terms for Property and Casualty insurance products. Responsible for retaining and servicing existing accounts.

What You’ll Be Doing
Provides excellent service to Members seeking information on insurance products offered through SchoolsFirst Insurance Services. Responsible for maintaining and updating existing policies in order to provide the most favorable coverage, cost, and terms for Property and Casualty insurance products. Responsible for retaining and servicing existing accounts.
- Responds to Member inquiries regarding policy coverage, limitations and claim processing procedures.
- Reviews policies sold for compliance with applicable insurance regulations. Maintains California Department of Insurance license and status for life and property & casualty for SchoolsFirst FCU.
- Schedules and conducts training sessions on insurance programs for SchoolsFirst FCU staff.
- Prepares and balances monthly / quarterly billings for applicable products, compiles statistical reports for management and the board of directors.
- Provides technical and operational assistance to branch personnel on all insurance products and procedures.
- Provides consultative services to Members regarding credit union products and services by assessing the Member's needs, addressing their concerns and gaining agreement.
- Processes changes, including coverage changes. Responsible for following up with vendors to ensure changes are processed accurately.
- Performs other duties as assigned
- Complies with regulatory compliance and assigned training requirements including but not limited to BSA regulations corresponding to their specific job duties. Failure to do so may result in disciplinary and other employment related actions
- High School Diploma or GED required
- 1-3 years of previous related experience required
- California Property and Casualty Insurance License required
- Background in administering non-deposit insurance related products.
- Knowledge of consumer related insurance.
- Preferred knowledge of AD & D, Debt Cancellation, Credit Insurance, Mechanical Breakdown Protection, GAP and other related insurance products.
