What are the responsibilities and job description for the Office Administrator position at Schroeder Asphalt Services, Inc?
- Order plans and specifications and keep bid calendar up to date.
- Separate bid documents for different trade packages.
- Keep a list on subcontractors from each trade that will be utilized for the bidding process and communicate to the subcontractors all notifications and updates throughout the bidding process.
- Track any and all bidding notifications such as addenda’s that are sent over. Notify all subcontractors of the addenda as it may pertain to their trade.
- Receive all subcontractor quote and bids in an organized and efficient manner as well as tracking any diversity/minority utilization.
- Assist in finalizing the bid and all calculations (check and recheck) prior to the bid opening.
- Keep accurate notes on all bid results and report all results to the estimating team.
- Follow up on projects we were low bidder on in a timely manner for contracts.
- Notify subcontractors in order to lock in rates & schedule.
- Work with estimator on awarded projects to keep logs on subcontractors, subcontracts and all necessary information needed to start project.
- Assist in collecting material submittals from vendors & subcontractors to submit to engineers.
- Other tasks to assist estimating team.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $48,000.00 - $52,000.00 per year
