Position Summary
The Systems Analyst works alongside the systems manager to perform daily system tasks that will serve our operations, build, and sales teams. The position ensures correct details, product information, and prices are clearly communicated to our employees, vendors, and trades within the region.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Fosters and promotes open and clear dialogue between departments and other teams
- Responsible to make sure all departments are able to utilize the database and ERP system to be successful in their roles
- Oversees and responsible for the accuracy of all home’s budgets, schedules, and work orders
- Ensures accurate data is received by company trades, vendors, and internal teams
- Responsible for managing building materials and costs in the ERP system
- Creates new home building plans in the ERP system, ensuring all available options are kept up to date
- Continuously looks for efficiency and process improvements, company-wide
- Reviews and orders material for every home within a region
- Assists in running weekly and monthly reports to ensure accuracy within the ERP system
- Manages material lists, contracts, and all system responsibilities for assigned region within the company database
- Responsible for generating pricing reports and managing approved sales prices within the ERP system
Qualifications and Skills
- Proficient in the use of Windows operating system and Microsoft Office applications
- Intermediate understanding of Microsoft Excel
- Ability to learn new software and utilize internal ERP system
- Excellent interpersonal and analytical skills
- Superior organizational skills and detail oriented, with the ability to multi-task
- Ability to understand mathematical equations
- Ability to read, understand, and explain construction blueprints and floorplans, highly desired
- Working knowledge of the basic materials and methods used by trade partners, highly desired
- Self-motivated and the ability to solve problems effectively
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Must be at least 21 years of age to drive a company vehicle
Work Environment and Physical Requirements
- Works in temperature-controlled office environment, with low noise levels
- Prolonged periods of sitting required
- Rarely required to walk, stand, lift, climb, pull, or push objects weighing up to 10 pounds
