Job Summary
- Perform daily cash counts and ensure accuracy in financial records.
- Process daily tax exemptions and maintain proper documentation.
- Respond to chargebacks, ensuring timely resolution and proper documentation.
- Conduct routing pack audits to maintain financial accuracy.
- Manage invoicing for accounts receivable (AR) and follow up on outstanding balances.
- Assist with group billing and reconciliation.
- Support the Accounting Manager in training and enforcing SOP adherence for financial operations.
- Oversee recruitment and requisition management, ensuring proper job postings and following the organization’s hiring procedures.
- Facilitate onboarding paperwork and benefit enrollment completion in collaboration with department leaders.
- Coordinate payroll processing alongside the Accounting Manager.
- Provide guidance and recommendations to department leaders on coaching & counseling procedures.
- Ensure HR compliance with resort-wide and F&B training and certification requirements.
- Act as the first level of employee relations support, addressing concerns, supporting investigations when necessary, and escalating issues to the Regional HR Director, as needed.
- Organize team celebrations and appreciation events to foster a positive workplace culture.
- Maintains the hotel’s personnel files up to date, including but not limited to, uploading employees’ documents into their personnel files, processing separations of employment, supporting the property with status changes, completing all I9s.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Human Resources, or Hospitality Management (preferred).
- Experience in hospitality accounting and HR functions is preferred.
- Strong understanding of payroll processing, AR invoicing, and financial audits.
- Strong understanding of HR compliance, employee relations, and training requirements.
- Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively across departments and work in a fast-paced environment.
