What are the responsibilities and job description for the Shipping Receiving Warehouse Worker position at Schwanog, LLC?
As one of the leading global manufacturers of insertable cutting tool systems for precision turned parts; we are looking to expand our US operation in Elgin, Illinois by immediately seeking a dynamic and motivated individual for our warehouse needs.
In this position he or she will be responsible for the daily domestic and international shipping and receiving, engraving of parts, picking orders, administering our inventory, and picking up and dropping off of manufactured parts to vendors, and any other tasks that need to be completed in department.
Hours are M-F 7:00 am to 3:30pm during training. After training is complete hours will change to 8:00 am to 4:30pm.
You should meet the following requirements:
· High school diploma or GED
· Must be sound with computer (Windows and MS Office), WMS system experience is a plus.
· Must be highly organized and a strong attention to detail.
· Must have a valid Illinois driver license.
· Be able to work efficiently and independently.
· Prior shipping / receiving experience with UPS, FedEx, and DHL software a plus.
· Good verbal and written communication skills
· Be a team player, responsible, and committed.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
