Scion Nonprofit Staffing has been engaged to identify outstanding candidates for the Sponsor Relations Officer role at a highly respected nonprofit organization dedicated to community development and social impact. This is an exciting opportunity for a fundraising professional to cultivate and expand corporate sponsorships, supporting critical programs that improve lives and strengthen communities. This full-time hybrid role is available for immediate hire in Houston, TX.


RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develop and manage relationships with corporate sponsors and organizational donors.
  • Identify, solicit, and secure contributions from new and existing sponsors to meet annual fundraising goals.
  • Create compelling donor proposals, presentations, and communications to engage sponsors.
  • Collaborate with donors, staff, and volunteers to coordinate corporate volunteer events and special initiatives.
  • Represent the organization at community, corporate, and industry networking events.
  • Maintain accurate records of sponsor commitments and donations in Salesforce or a donor CRM.
  • Ensure proper documentation and processing of financial and in-kind contributions.
  • Track fundraising metrics and assess progress toward revenue goals.


QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 2-3 years of nonprofit fundraising, corporate sponsorship, or sales experience.
  • Proven ability to raise at least $250K annually and meet budget goals.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills for donor outreach and proposal development.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint).
  • 3-5 years of experience in corporate fundraising within the Houston philanthropic community.
  • Demonstrated success in securing gifts of $100K and above.
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.


COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS:

This role offers a competitive salary ranging from $65,000 to $80,000 (DOE), along with a comprehensive benefits package.
