Job Description
In this position, you will be responsible for providing direct and indirect patient care through the nursing process of Assessment, Planning, Intervention, and Evaluation. Your duties will include:
- Developing and implementing individualized care plans in coordination with patients, families, and interdisciplinary staff.
- Communicating effectively with physicians, nursing supervisors/ managers, and co-workers regarding changes in patient condition.
- Participating in discharge planning processes to ensure seamless transitions for patients.
- Maintaining high standards of nursing care and adhering to hospital policies and procedures.
Required Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following qualifications and skills:
- A degree in Nursing from an accredited institution.
- A valid state licensure as a Registered Nurse.
- BCLS certification; ACLS certification preferred.
- At least six months of experience in a medical/surgical setting, preferably in an acute care environment.
