Description
We are looking for a Warehouse Supervisor that will help oversee the process of picking, organizing and loading products from our warehouse and preparing them for delivery to our coffee houses and kiosks along with oversight of multiple areas of the Warehouse including the shipping/receiving dock and freezer all while keeping safety as the #1 priority. This person will be a team leader, setting a high- energy work pace, creating a positive team environment and exemplifying Scooter’s Coffee Core Values.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
· Lead, motivate and encourage team to work at their best each day
· Work closely with the Warehouse Manager to ensure operations are done in a safe and efficient manner
· Manage and approve all time off requests and timecards
· Assist the Warehouse Manager with hiring and progressive discipline
· Consistently set a positive example for team of strong team members
· Monitor and set expectations for achieving KPI targets
· Lead team of warehouse associates and leads, administering coaching and development as needed
· Responsible for the onboarding and training of new warehouse associates
· Assists as needed in all aspects of truck picking and loading, ecommerce, shipping, and grand opening order fulfillment
· Constantly aware of process statuses and communicates updates with the Warehouse Manager
· Identifies opportunities to improve team processes and standards
· Leads strong culture of safety while maintaining strict adherence to all safety requirements throughout the facility
· Provides suggestions to management for process improvements within the warehouse
· Responsible for accurate completion of all maintenance, compliance, and safety logs
· Communicates order submission violations with Inventory Control Team
· Encourage and ensure full team participation in both setting goals and developing action plans to accomplish goals
Qualifications
· Demonstrated ability to be a team leader
· Strong supervisory and leadership skills
· Systems knowledge including but not limited to Microsoft Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Deposco WMS, UPS Worldship, Smartsheet
· Professional appearance and attitude
· Detail-oriented and self-motivated
· Ability to establish priorities
· Strong communication skills
· Ability to work as part of a team or individually with minimum supervision
· Physical demands of the position, including but not limited to, standing, stooping, bending, manually loading/unloading trucks, and lifting up to 75 lbs.
· Successful completion of a Food Safety training upon hire
· Successful completion of forklift training upon hire
· Ability to pass company drug screen
