Responsibilities include:
- Identifying and sourcing appropriate species based on project requirements, considering climate, soil conditions, aesthetic preferences, and maintenance needs.
- Negotiating pricing and terms with nurseries and suppliers.
- Conducting on-site inspections of plant material stock to assess quality, size, and health in accordance with company standards.
- Generating purchase receipts and receiving materials into Aspire.
- Managing inventory of trees/shrubs to ensure timely delivery to project sites.
- Inspecting incoming deliveries for any signs of disease, pests, or damage.
- Evaluating materials for compliance with industry standards and local regulations.
- Staying updated on current market trends relating to environmental concerns, species, pricing, and availability.
