Job Description:
The MEP Project Manager is responsible for overseeing mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) scopes on large-scale data center projects. This role requires strong technical expertise, strategic planning, and leadership to ensure projects are completed efficiently, on time, and within budget.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Lead the MEP scope of large-scale data center projects from preconstruction through closeout
- Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, and procurement plans for all MEP trades
- Oversee the design, coordination, installation, and commissioning of MEP systems
- Work closely with subcontractors, consultants, and owners to ensure seamless project execution
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations, energy efficiency standards, and quality control protocols
- Monitor project financials, including cost control, change orders, and forecasting
- Collaborate with Superintendents and Field Teams to resolve technical challenges
- Implement and enforce best practices for mission-critical systems, including HVAC, power distribution, and redundancy systems
Qualifications:
- 4 years of MEP project management experience in data center construction, 100M .
- Strong knowledge of critical power, cooling, and fire protection systems
- Experience managing MEP scopes valued at $50M
- Ability to travel full-time to project locations nationwide
- Proficiency in BIM, Revit, Procore, and Primavera P6
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Civil Engineering preferred
