What’s the Job?
As an Automotive Service Advisor, you’ll be the customer’s go-to guide for all things car service. You’ll help them understand what’s going on with their vehicle, give them clear service recommendations, and make sure their experience is as smooth as a freshly detailed car. You’ll work closely with our expert technicians to get the job done right—and make sure everyone leaves with a smile.
What You’ll Be Doing (Other Than Talking Cars):
- Greeting customers with a smile and asking how we can help (you’ll be the first face they see, so make it count!).
- Diagnosing customer concerns—Not literally diagnosing (leave that to the techs), but figuring out what’s going on with their ride and translating it into simple, easy-to-understand terms.
- Providing detailed service estimates—You’ll break down exactly what needs to be done, so customers can make informed decisions.
- Coordinating repairs and maintenance—You’ll schedule the work, communicate with technicians, and make sure the customer’s vehicle gets the care it needs.
- Following up with customers post-service—You’ll check in to make sure they’re happy with the work and see if there’s anything else they need.
- Managing customer records—Accurate records, so we know their car’s history and can keep them running in tip-top shape.
- Promoting additional services—You’ll be the friendly face suggesting services that will keep their car in prime condition (because who doesn’t want to drive a car that purrs?).
What We’re Looking For:
- Experience in automotive service advising—You’ve worked in the automotive industry before, and you know how to communicate with both customers and technicians.
- Mechanical knowledge—You don’t need to be a mechanic, but an understanding of how cars work will make you a rock star in this role.
- Exceptional communication skills—You’re great at explaining things in a way everyone can understand. Complex car jargon? Not on your watch.
