- Review and become thoroughly familiar with ACCME and AMA standards to ensure compliance in all CME activities.
- Assist with the ACCME’s annual reporting requirement and reaccreditation process.
- Develop updates for review and requested reports for CME Committee meetings to include project status, live course events calendars, SCPU course tracking, future CME topics, CME faculty updates, review of ACCME updates/policies and preparing and distributing meeting minutes.
- Develop and maintain SCP’s CME activity tracking to ensure compliance with ACCME accreditation requirements and policies by collecting planning forms, notes, required faculty forms, expense information, commercial support letters of agreement, participant applications, sign-in sheets, and post-tests/evaluations.
- Assist with all aspects of CME live activities, both internal and jointly provided, including the collection, and tracking of required forms, assisting with all activity needs and distributing CME certificates.
- Assists with the management and coordination of medical educational programs and clinical leadership events; educational event communications, coordination of presenters and the preparation of materials, working in conjunction with other departments when necessary.
- Develop presentation materials and learning aids to support the needs of the education department.
- Perform administrator functions for SCPU (SCP Health’s Learning Management System) which includes the setup of new courses, assisting with requests for technical support or documentation, and creating automated or ad hoc tracking reports. This also includes assisting with facility specific training initiatives and team-based functions in SCPU.
- Update department specific information on the SCP Health’s Portal site.
- Coordinate with stakeholders to determine other CME needs, propose options, and implement solutions.
- Build and create relationships with internal and external customers.
- Respond to ad hoc requests of the department from internal and external stakeholders.
- Perform project management responsibilities for assigned work assignments.
- General office duties and special assignments, as assigned.
What we are looking for:
- High-school diploma, required.
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, education, healthcare, or related field, preferred.
- PMP certification, a plus.
- 3 years of experience in an administrative and project support role, preferably within healthcare field. Previous experience in medical education, a plus.
- 1 years of experience with event, meeting, and educational training planning.
- Successful track record of supporting and overseeing multiple projects simultaneously.
- High attention to detail, extremely organized, with thorough follow-through.
- Possesses sound judgment and decision-making.
- Proactive planning and timely execution, while also responding to external and internal demands.
- Ability to communicate effectively and build relationships at all levels.
- Highly resilient and able to operate effectively within rapidly changing and demanding environment.
- Proficiency in MS Office programs: Excel, Word, Power Point
- Data manipulation (spreadsheets / graphs / formulas / pivot tables)
- Creative with the ability to develop advanced presentations and learning aids.
- Possible travel to company meetings and events
