Administrative Assistant, Brownsville, TX

A leading ship dismantler and recycler in Brownsville, TX is seeking an exceptionally strong Administrative Assistant with a legal background to join their team. The Administrative Assistant will be responsible for ensuring business objectives are met while mitigating risk.
 
Responsibilities:
  • Liaison with various stakeholders to ensure business objectives are met and to mitigate risks.
  • Identify and anticipate concerns with business objectives and timelines.
  • Monitor progress on yard to ensure adherence to the milestones and business goals.
  • Complete milestone reporting that covers all aspects of demolition processes and prepare to be sent routinely to government entities.
  • Respond to inquiries and requests in a timely and professional manner.
  • Generate regular progress reports, highlighting key achievements, challenges, and potential issues.
  • Manage waste manifests.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
  • Possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration.  Consideration will be given to someone possessing a Paralegal certificate.

Preferred:
  • 5 years’ experience working in an industrial setting.
  • 5 years’ experience in project management or legal role.
