Position Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Director of Retail Coffee Operations to lead our retail operations, overseeing three regional management teams and cafes with over 80 team members and $6 million in gross revenue. This role requires strategic leadership, operational excellence, and a passion for specialty coffee. You will report to the Chief Development Officer and collaborate closely with Directors and Accounting teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and support regional managers to ensure operational excellence across all retail locations.
- Oversee daily operations, drive sales, and ensure an exceptional specialty coffee experience for guests.
- Champion our Mission and Core Values, fostering a positive, growth-oriented team culture.
- Collaborate on strategic initiatives to achieve company objectives and improve store profitability.
- Manage budgets, oversee facility maintenance, and ensure compliance with permits and licensing.
- Utilize platforms like Slack, Square, WheniWork, and Google Drive for effective operations management.
Experience Required:
- Minimum 3 years of senior leadership experience in a fast-paced environment.
- At least 2 years of experience in specialty coffee, with strong knowledge of industry best practices.
- Proven ability to inspire teams, drive results, and maintain high standards of quality and service.
