The University of South Dakota School of Health Sciences (SHS) is hiring a Program Coordinator who will report to the Director of Research & Innovation in the Dean’s Office. The Program Coordinator will support and coordinate multiple research and evaluation projects and programs related to healthcare systems and social determinants of health for faculty and staff in the School of Health Sciences and community organizations.The Program Coordinator will support the successful development, implementation, and evaluation of grant and project deliverables. Duties include, but are not limited to, planning, coordination, and analysis of qualitative and quantitative evaluation projects (including focus groups and surveys), writing reports, establishing workplans an timelines, coordinating and leading workgroups, creating and executing evaluation plans, and collaborating with and advising other project team members. They will also aid SHS faculty and staff with grant identification, grant writing support, and post award management.The successful applicant will have experience with project evaluation. Experience with statistical packages (e.g. STATA, SPSS, R) is beneficial. Assigned projects will be varied and requires ability to learn and research new topic areas. Prior experience with grant identification, writing, and management is beneficial. A 4-year/bachelor’s degree is required in a health sciences related field; data management, research, and evaluation field; or a related field.
