Leasing Associate

SDK Village Green is seeking a full-time Leasing Associate to facilitate leasing activities for a 1,173-unit multifamily property in Budd Lake, NJ.

This position requires weekends and some holidays.

About the Position

As our leasing associate, you will…

• Model behavior that is aligned with SDK values when interacting with anyone associated with SDK.
• Achieve maximum occupancy through effective customer service, sales and marketing strategies.
• Follow through with all leasing activities, including but not limited to conducting property tours, promptly responding to leasing inquiries, qualifying applicants, processing applications, conducting background checks and drafting lease agreements.
• Generate leads by creating and distributing marketing materials to advertise vacant properties through various channels, including online listings and social media.
• Work collaboratively with property and maintenance team members to ensure smooth move-ins and move-outs.
• Adhere to established Company procedures and policies regarding leasing and resident relations.
• Stay informed about applicable laws and regulations and ensure all leasing activities comply with relevant legal requirements.
• Assist with the company’s ongoing relationship with the residents throughout their tenancy.
• Maintain accurate, in-depth knowledge of all aspects of the community, particularly in rent and pricing information, vacancies, apartment availability, lease expirations, square footage and the broader community.

About Your Professional Background & Skills

• A minimum of 1 year of leasing experience; a strong sales background will be considered.
• Exceptional presentation, communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills.
• High emotional intelligence with a welcoming demeanor.
• Strong organization, attention to detail, multi-tasking and follow through skills.
• Thrives in fast-paced environments and has the ability to work well both independently and as part of a team.
• Adaptable to changing work schedules and ability to work weekends and some holidays.
• Proficient in MSOffice; knowledge of leasing management software Onesite is a big plus!
• Must have reliable transportation and a valid license.
• Possess stellar references.
• Must be able to work with any employer in the US without any restrictions whatsoever.

The gross hourly pay range for this position is between $17-20. The actual compensation will be based on factors unique to the candidate, including direct years of experience and depth of knowledge.
