What are the responsibilities and job description for the Maintenance Technician position at SDK Apartments?
Acadia by SDK, a residential community in Ashburn VA, is seeking a strong individual for Maintenance Technician position.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Must perform Appliance repairs
- Electrical work. Installation and or repair of light fixtures, switches, outlets, etc.
- Plumbing work. Installation and or repair of faucets, drains, toilets, diverters, etc.
- Snaking clogged drains
- Installation of ceramic and vinyl tiles
- Carpentry work. Installation and or repair door jambs, doorknobs, trim and moldings
- Sheetrock installation and repair / spackling / painting
- Perform basic locksmith duties by adjusting doors, hinges, locks.
- Apartment turns, make ready for new move in
- Must clean up after completing repairs and maintenance.
- Must work on-call on rotation.

- Able to troubleshoot and make all necessary repairs

- Interact with tenants to resolve work orders

This is a Full-Time position. 40 hours per week with overtime availability.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $27.00 - $29.00 per hour
