Position Summary : The Lead Host oversees the front-of-house operations, ensuring exceptional service and guest satisfaction in the dining room. This role entails managing the dining room team, coordinating seating arrangements, and maintaining cleanliness and orderliness to uphold high hospitality standards.
Responsibilities :
- Personally greets and welcomes members and guests with warmth and familiarity.
- Provides detailed descriptions and recommendations of menu items and wine selections.
- Coordinates seamlessly between kitchen and service staff to ensure efficient food service.
- Inspects linens and tableware daily to ensure cleanliness and proper presentation.
- Maintains inventory and appearance of silver and copper service ware.
- Addresses and resolves member and guest complaints promptly and courteously.
- Ensures compliance with safety, accident, and emergency procedures.
- Manages the flow of food and beverage checks and maintains accuracy in billing.
- Trains, supervises, and motivates dining room staff to deliver exemplary service.
- Conducts regular inspections to uphold cleanliness and organization standards in the dining area.
- Plans and delegates side work assignments to maintain operational efficiency.
- Provides training in bar service, cocktail preparation, food service, expediting, and culinary practices.
- Oversees pre-opening cleaning tasks and ensures completion as per requirements.
