Production Planner/Laser Machine Programmer

About the Role:

We are looking for a motivated Laser Programmer to join our team! This is a great opportunity for a Laser Operator who is ready to take the next step and move into the office environment to learn the software side of things. If you have a strong mechanical aptitude, problem-solving skills, and general computer knowledge, we want to hear from you!

Salary: $21.00-$25.00/hr.

Key Responsibilities:

• Learn and develop 2D laser programming for our cutting systems.
• Work with CAD software to assist in programming (experience is a plus but not required).
• Manage inventory related to laser operations and ensure materials are available.

Education/Experience

• HS diploma required, two to four years of work experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Language Ability

• Ability to read and analyze technical procedures.
• Ability to write reports, and business correspondence.
• Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, and customers.

Math Ability

• Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.
• Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.

Reasoning Ability

• Ability to solve practical problems and deal with various concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

Computer Skills

• To perform this job successfully, an individual should know Microsoft Office, Eniteo, and computer search engines.

Machine Knowledge

• CNC Machine knowledge. Slitting Machine, Press Brake & Laser
