JOB SUMMARY:
The Finance Specialist is responsible for managing various aspects of the company’s financial operations, ensuring accuracy and compliance with policies, and supporting the finance team’s efficiency and growth. This includes overseeing accounts payable/receivable, commissions, goal attainment, financial reporting, and reconciliations.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Oversee and complete assigned operational tasks related to financial activities.
- Create and develop documentation to support finance operations and group initiatives.
- Contribute to the growth of the business through various financial projects.
- Ensure compliance with company and department-specific financial policies and procedures.
- Identify and escalate complex or unresolved financial issues to the appropriate teams or leadership.
- Handle sensitive and confidential financial documents with integrity and discretion.
- Team Operations: Support day-to-day financial operations, including AP, AR, commissions, and goal attainment, ensuring accuracy and timely execution.
- Data Entry & Financial Record Keeping: Assist with monthly recordkeeping and reconciliation processes, preparing data for journal entries and tracking daily financial transactions.
- Reconciliation: Assist in the monthly reconciliation of bank accounts and credit cards, monitoring and resolving discrepancies.
- Assist with Financial Reporting: Contribute to the preparation of monthly financial statements and reports.
- General Finance Support: Provide administrative support for the finance team, responding to queries and assisting with departmental projects and record maintenance.
- Other Duties as Assigned: Assist with ad-hoc financial projects, reporting, and other tasks as directed by the finance team.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 2 years of relevant finance or accounting experience (e.g., AP, AR).
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.
- Ability to adapt and problem-solve in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Integrity and discretion when handling sensitive data and financial information.
