Patient Care Coordinator
Location: Seattle, WA

We are a small Audiology office looking for a new full-time front desk representative. We have been around for 30 years and are willing to train a new employee and help them grow into the position; don’t hesitate to apply if you are interested.
Seattle Hearing and Balance Center is a small private Audiology practice in Seattle located on the Swedish Cherry Hill Campus. As Audiologists, we specialize in diagnostic hearing and balance testing in addition to fitting hearing aids.
This position is the first point of contact in the patient care experience, so we are looking for someone who is enthusiastic, friendly, and empathetic to individual cares and concerns of our patients. Since we are a small private practice, it often means that each of our employees wear many different hats. If you excel at multitasking and are a detail-oriented individual, we would love the opportunity to meet with you.
Administrative or healthcare experience is preferred.
Responsibilities:
- Scheduling appointments for multiple practitioners
- Answering phone calls and emails
- Greeting, check-in, and routing patients
- Offering information and education to patients as needed
- Referral coordination
- Collecting and managing insurances
- Organizational management and assistance to practitioners on a daily basis
- Occasional medical assistant help
Qualifications:
- At least 1 year of customer service or reception experience
- Excellent communication skills and patience, especially with patients with communication difficulties and hearing loss
- Basic knowledge of Google and Microsoft Suite
- Basic knowledge of health insurance
- Ability to handle confidential information with appropriate level of discretion and care
- Must have proof of vaccination

Pay: $21.00 Depending on experience
Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:30-5pm (there is flexibility Tues-Thurs in the afternoons)
