Join the Seawah Furniture Team! — Warehouse Position (Part-Time)
Seawah Furniture is growing, and we’re looking for a reliable, detail-oriented team member to help us keep things running smoothly at our off-site warehouse on River Road, just a few miles from our showroom on Johns Island.
Position Highlights:
- Part-time (Up to 30 hours/week to start) *Full-time opportunities to come soon*
- Pay: $20–$24/hour, based on experience
- Schedule: Monday to Thursday, 10:00 am to 3:00 pm (optional Fridays)
- Location: In-person at our River Road warehouse (Johns Island, SC)
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Receiving and inspecting incoming furniture
- Entering order information into our system
- Light furniture assembly (as needed)
- Assist with customer pick-ups at the warehouse
- Occasional deliveries of furniture to the showroom, which is 3 miles from the warehouse, using the company van - delivery assistance is provided by our friendly team at the showroom
- Keeping the warehouse clean, safe, and organized
- Oversee daily warehouse operations, ensuring efficient supply chain and inventory management.
What We’re Looking For:
- A professional, organized individual who can work independently; must be organized
- Experience in furniture handling (2 years preferred)
- Valid driver’s license (required) and a clean driving record (will be verified)
- Ability to drive the company van safely
- Ability to lift and place furniture
- Ability to reliably commute to Johns Island or planning to relocate before starting
