Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Office Manager/ Full Charge Bookkeeper to manage our financial records and ensure the accuracy of our accounting processes. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Quick Books Desktop accounting software. This role requires proficiency in accounts receivable and payable, payroll processing, budgeting, and tax preparation.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Maintain complete and accurate financial records for the organization.
- Manage accounts receivable and payable to ensure timely invoicing and collections.
- Process payroll accurately and on schedule, ensuring compliance with applicable laws.
- Prepare budgets and financial reports to assist management in decision-making.
- Perform tax-related tasks, including preparation and filing of necessary documents.
- Conduct regular reconciliations of bank statements and other financial accounts.
- Assist with audits by providing necessary documentation and reports as required.
- Maintain confidentiality of financial information while adhering to company policies.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as an Office Manager/ Full Charge Bookkeeper
- Strong knowledge of governmental accounting principles is preferred.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks accounting software is essential.
- Familiarity with accounts receivable and payable processes, payroll systems, budgeting, and tax preparation is required.
- Excellent 10 key typing skills for data entry accuracy.
- Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently while managing multiple tasks effectively.
- A degree in accounting is a plus but not mandatory.
- Minimum 10 years full charge bookkeeping experience
- Work fluently with Microsoft Office and Windows operating systems.
- Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
