Job Summary
The Law Services Sr Analyst will collaborate with the Securian Financial Law Department's Affinity Solutions legal team to support the legal needs of Securian Financial and its Affinity Solutions division. This dynamic team works with credit unions, banks, and finance companies to provide regulatory services and compliant documents for lending and depository needs.
- Provide compliant services and solutions for clients' lending, deposit program, and documentation needs.
- Support federal and state consumer financial protection laws and regulations, such as the Truth in Lending Act, Truth in Savings Act, Uniform Commercial Code, and related laws.
- Distill complex legal information into easy-to-understand guidance for business units and external clients.
- Research and analyze legal issues related to insurance matters and provide ongoing support to product line attorneys and business units.
- Draft and revise contracts, addendums, and other forms to align with business unit goals and client needs.
Responsibilities

- Support strategic business growth solutions to ensure compliance with applicable rules and regulations.
- Research and analyze legal issues related to insurance matters and provide ongoing support to product line attorneys and business units.
- Draft and revise contracts, addendums, and other forms to align with business unit goals and client needs.
Requirements
- Ability to research a wide variety of insurance law topics and jurisdictional differences.
- Desire and ability to become a subject matter expert on relevant topics.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Self-directed and disciplined in working independently with minimal supervision.
- Versatility, maturity, and ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Strong organization and planning skills necessary to adjust to changing priorities and meet deadlines.
- Outstanding attention to detail and accuracy.

Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in a previous law firm or corporate law department.
- Paralegal Certification.
- Experience in Estate & Trust law, and/or Life Insurance.
