The Job :
As Controller, you will manage a small accounting team and work closely with the CFO and board to ensure accurate reporting of results for the enterprise.
You will direct the finance department processing AP / AR, tax filings, month-end close and coordinate with external auditors as well as manage treasury functions including cash flow needs for various funds and movement of those funds in reviewing and analyzing all investment activity.
Duties include :
- Develop and adhere to internal accounting controls and policies and establish procedures to safeguard assets;
- Work closely with CFO and functional managers to coordinate the preparation of annual budget;
- Direct financial audits conducted by outside agencies;
- Administer requirements of bond indentures which direct bond proceeds;
- Train and develop / mentor staff;
- Oversee preparation, review and analysis of US, Canadian and converted consolidated financial statements;
- Review capital projects, approvals and track progress
Minimum Requirements :
Salary : $120,000 outstanding benefits / retirement
