We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Project Estimator/Project Manager to join our dynamic team. Duties
- Review project plans and specifications to prepare detailed cost estimates for materials, labor, and equipment.
- Utilize HeavyBid and Prolog software to create and manage estimates efficiently.
- Collaborate with project coordinators to ensure all aspects of the project are accounted for in the estimate.
- Conduct site visits to assess conditions and gather information necessary for accurate estimating.
- Analyze blueprints and other documentation to develop comprehensive project scopes.
- Maintain organized records of estimates, contracts, and change orders throughout the project lifecycle.
- Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers to obtain pricing information and negotiate contracts as needed.
- Monitor project budgets and timelines, providing updates as necessary to stakeholders.
Experience
- Proven experience as a Project Estimator/Project Manager in the construction industry is essential.
- Proficiency in construction management software such as HeavyBid, Bluebeam, or similar tools is required.
- Strong skills in blueprint reading and interpretation are necessary for this role.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
- Excellent time management skills with a focus on meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with construction site operations and safety protocols is preferred.
