As the Controller you are responsible for overseeing all accounting functions, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial records, and managing day-to-day financial operations. This role will focus on accounting compliance, internal controls, financial reporting, and operational efficiencies. This position is onsite in Reno, Nevada, and candidates must reside in the area.

What you'll do :

• Oversee daily accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger
• Manage the accounting department, including supervising, training, and providing performance evaluations for the accounting team
• Ensure accuracy and compliance of financial records with GAAP and other regulatory requirements
• Manage tax filings and ensure compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local regulations
• Collaborate with the Head of Finance and President to develop and implement financial strategies and forecasts
• Prepare and analyze cash flow reports, supporting effective financial planning
